On Monday, February 15, sustained high winds managed to blow over the container block that had been installed near the Lower City Church as work and accommodation units in 2008. No damage to the Byzantine ruins, excavation trenches, or village buildings has been reported. Fortunately, no-one was near the container block when it collapsed. Arrangements are now being made to carry out repairs.
